The New Hampton Fire District is the entity that owns the buildings, grounds, and equipment, and is paid through taxes to provide fire protection to those that live in it's boundaries. The district is supervised by a Board of Fire Commissioners, consisting of 5 members elected by the general public. The District also employs a Secretary to the Board (Joan Pisacane), and a Treasurer of the Board (Patti O'Gorman), to handle business. The Board of Fire Commissioners meets once a month, on the third Monday of the month at 6:30pm. These meetings are open to the public.
