The New Hampton Fire Company would like to express its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow firefighters of the late John W. Brown.

It is with deep regret that the Cronomer Valley Fire Department announces the passing of CVFD Past President and Life Member John W. Brown. John had a bout with cancer and did not survive his emergency surgery on Sat.,May 31st. John was the husband of Ladies Auxilary President Dot Brown and father of Auxilary Member Sharon Brown. He was known as one of the Senior NYS Instructors at the OCFTC and his devotion to the Fire Service. During his tenure, John served as both a teacher and a mentor to many students in the fire service. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him. His wake will be held Wed.,June 4th from 4 to 9 pm at the Cronomer Valley Social Hall; Funeral service will be held Thurs.,June 5th at the CVFD Social Hall at 11 am.. The family welcomes all back to the Cronomer Valley Firehouse after the procession to the Cedar Hill Cemetary.
